Powerhouse Gym offers a wide range of group classes from Pilates and yoga to Zumba, cardio, cycling, tai chi and many others. Perhaps you already have your favorites, or maybe you’re looking for a new class that works for you. Either way, you can’t go wrong. All of our classes are taught by expert instructors; they’re fun and guaranteed to give you a great workout experience.

Class Descriptions
Bag Kick Boxing: This program will take you through a professional kick boxer's workout. A 60 minute cardiovascular, heart-pounding, endorphin producing, addictive workout that tones every muscle in your entire body & burns fat!!

Basic/Power Step & Sculpt: A combination of movements on the step, followed by an extended muscle conditioning segment. Get the best of both worlds, step & sculpt, in this total body workout.

Body Sculpt: This class covers a variety of ways to sculpt & tone the entire body with hand weights, tubing & floor exercises. Every muscle in your body will be challenged. join the class and feel the difference!

Boot Camp: In this power packed class, complex choreography is replaced with skills, drills, circuits and intervals. A total body workout! Variety of cardio and strength training routine, military style!

Cardio Blast/-Pump: A moderate to high intensity workout that is great for fat burning and cardio conditioning. Aerobic choreography alternates between low & high impact movements. Geared for all fitness levels because you choose your own intensity level.

Cardio Interval: A combination of muscular & cardiovascular endurance exercises. The Cardio Interval can incorporate kickboxing, low impact floor aerobics, cycling, military style drills and basic step moves. The Cardiovascular Interval utilizes band and weights. The final 20-25 minutes will emphasize on the BUNS and ABS which is a non-impact way to define your abs, lower back, hips and glutes (buns)!! Bands and balls may be used to define this area. All fitness levels are welcome!!

Cardio Kickboxing (non-contact): Kickboxing continues to sweep the nation. This ultimate cardiovascular challenge combines movement patterns, technique and agility training. This high energy workout will get you results!

Cycle & Sculpt: This class features 30 minutes of high intensity cycling followed by 30 minutes of total body strength training exercises. Maximize your total body workout with a high calorie burn to help you get results!

Hard Bodies or Muscle Tech (both same class format): A terrific body sculpting experience. Great for all fitness levels. A body-toning and shaping class that utilizes hand weights, bars, balls and bands to work all major muscles through resistance training. Perfect to do before or after a cardio workout.

Pilates and Pilates Pump (same but w/ weight)s: This class is designed to improve flexibility, coordination and posture. Also increase awareness of proper body alignment and breathing. It is also designed to strengthen abdominal, leg, back and gluteus maximus muscles. Designed for all levels.

SilverSneakers®(Muscular Strength & ROM): Have fun & move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement & activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles & ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is
used for seated and/or standing support.

SilverSneakers® - Cardio Circuit: Combine fun & fitness to increase your cardiovascular & muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work using hand held weights, tubing & balls is altered with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, head to toe stretching, and complete relaxation in a comfortable position.

Indoor Cycling: An indoor cycling class consisting of varying speeds, resistance levels and intensities targeted at raising your heart rate and toning your lower body. Let the instructor guide you through a 30-45 minute ride that you can tailor to fit your personal fitness.

Step: An excellent fat burner that includes lower body conditioning. Can be taken by beginners or individuals at any level since modifications are offered throughout class. Abdominal work and stretching follow the cardio segment.

Step 2: Also a great fat burner which includes lower body conditioning. Geared toward the experienced stepper, but can be taken by individuals at any level since modifications will be offered throughout class. Abdominal work and stretching to complete the class.

Step Interval: Rev up your metabolism through the incorporation of high intensity step aerobics and resistance training performed in intervals. This class utilizes the step, resistance bands & hand-held weights.

Turbo Kick box ® The hottest exercise class around! It's kickboxing, but much more! You'll kick, punch & groove those calories away! It is an action packed, super fun & effective cardiovascular workout!!
This class incorporates benefits from Yoga, Pilates and Dance Conditioning. Exercises increase
strength, flexibility, balance and relaxation to create a well-aligned body.

Hatha Yoga: Hatha Yoga classes will introduce you to basic breathing techniques and asanas necessary to achieve grace, beauty and balance. This class ranges from mildly to moderately challenging, and emphasizes each individuals true expression.

Yoga: Explores the fundamentals of yoga poses. Learn how to breathe into the body and move deeply from within. Practice movements with consciousness to build strength, balance and flexibility and inner peace.
